Music
For over 11 years. The Egremont Inn Restaurant has offered live
entertainment to its guests. Every Thursday and Saturday evenings,
musicians come to play that original American musical style known as
jazz. Playing interpretations from the American songbook, our music adds
a unique element to dining at The Restaurant.
On Thursdays, our weekly ensemble covers the traditional standards mixed
up with original takes on pop standards. It is not uncommon for an extra
musician or a vocalist to sit in to expand the evening to an unexpected
and rewarding musical experience. Our guests often times are relaxed
enough to get up and dance.
Saturday evenings we offer venues ranging from the classic piano/bass
duo, or a guitar/bass/trumpet trio to an eclectic guitar/bass/violin
combination. Many of our guests enjoy tables close to the musicians while
others like the recesses of a distant location in the restaurant where
the music is more background.
The musicians are from the local region and many enjoy stellar careers in
the music industry. If you are in town, stop by and listen to what has
become the place where musicians like to play and people love to listen.
