The inn,
www.egremontinn.com, is located in the historic village
of South Egremont.
When possible, all of the produce comes from
local farms. Our fish, brought to us from the areas top distributors,
is delivered daily. The Angus beef, Maine Elk and Venison come
to us from our Boston and New York Distributors. Our pork and
poultry are non-injected so we are confident that they are always
of the best flavor.
Classic desserts finish a terrific dining
experience with sweet inn made fruit pies and tarts, superb Crèmes
and succulent hot fudge topping the chefs' brownies and cookies.
The wine list, while predominately American,
also features some of the outstanding finds in other countries.
With over 150 different selections from various countries, vineyards
and vintners, there is a wonderful wine for every occasion. A
wide variety of our selections are also offered by the glass.
The restaurant has a dining room and a tavern,
offering different settings in which to enjoy your dinner. During
summer and fall, the wraparound porch offers a wonderful venue
for a before dinner cocktail or for outdoor dining. In the colder
seasons, one of the fireplaces is often a favorite spot. For
folks arriving early to socialize, there are three separate sitting
rooms, each with their own fireplace in the colder seasons.
The restaurant's eclectic and gregarious 'social
spot' is the popular bar. It draws together folks waiting for
a table, having dinner or simply enjoying a drink while listening
to live jazz.
Every Thursday and Saturday night the restaurant
features live jazz for our dinner guests. Sometimes our guests
enjoy a quite moment dancing or listening to familiar selections
from the American songbook...
